Hi, everyone this is my last entry/post for this semesta. During this 6 months here as IKMKL student. i here learnt so many thing and gain new experiences.

Movie Review "LOGAN".

SUMMARY.

In the near future, a weary Logan cares for an ailing Professor X, somewhere on the Mexican border. However, Logan's attempts to hide from the world, and his legacy, are upended when a young mutant arrives, pursued by dark forces.In 2029 the mutant population has shrunken significantly due to genetically modified plants designed to reduce mutant powers and the X-Men have disbanded. Logan, whose power to self-heal is dwindling, has surrendered himself to alcohol and now earns a living as a chauffeur. He takes care of the ailing old Professor X whom he keeps hidden away. One day, a female stranger asks Logan to drive a girl named Laura to the Canadian border. At first he refuses, but the Professor has been waiting for a long time for her to appear. Laura possesses an extraordinary fighting prowess and is in many ways like Wolverine. She is pursued by sinister figures working for a powerful corporation; this is because they made her, with Logan's DNA. A decrepit Logan is forced to ask himself if he can or even wants to put his remaining powers to good use. It would appear that in the near-future, the times in which they were able put the world to rights with razor sharp claws and telepathic powers are now over. In the not-so-distant 2029, the entire mutant race is almost obliterated, and Logan, the invincible bestial superhero once known as the Wolverine, finds himself getting old, and his incredible healing ability significantly weakened. As an incognito limo driver, Logan does his best to guard and keep out of sight a weary nonagenarian Professor Xavier; however, things will take an unexpected turn when a cryptic woman asks him to transport the young mutant girls, Laura. A better future lies past the Canadian borders for the unaccompanied teenager, but the government is unwilling to let go of its asset so easily.

Theme          : 2017 American superhero film is a film that is focused on the actions of one superheroes.

Liked             : Best film I've ever seen, it's beautifully made and worth the watch.Jackmans performance was outstanding, he has always been the perfect wolverine, with his angry expressions and roars, this is definitely his best Wolverine performance ever.

Rating           : I give 4 Star.

WHAT IS GLOBAL WARMING?

—  Global warming is the gradual increase of the temperature of earth's atmosphere and oceans.

—  Over the past century the average temperatures have gone up by just over one degree. This may not seem like much, but many scientists agree that the earth's temperatures are starting to increase at a faster rate.

WHAT CAUSES IT?

—  Global warming occurs when greenhouse gases, such as carbon dioxide, nitrous oxide, and methane trap heat inside the earth's atmosphere.

—  Think about what happens when you open your car door after the windows have been rolled up on a hot day. Heat from the sun enters the car, but the frame of the car prevents it from escaping.

—  To a small extent, this is a representation of what happens during global warming. Burning fossil fuels like petroleum and deforestation both contribute to the problem.

WHAT EFFECTS DOES CLIMATE CHANGE HAVE ON THE EARTH AND ITS INHABITANTS?

—  Global warming has already started to affect the earth in several ways.

—  Arctic glaciers have begun to melt, threatening indigenous life such as the polar bears. Melting glaciers also cause sea levels to rise. This could become a problem for low land areas like the ones in the South Sea Islands.

—  Ocean temperatures have begun to rise. This causes some of the algae to die which can affect the entire food chain.

—  This speech isn't written to persuade or motivate the audience to do anything about the effects of global warming. It is an informative speech, only meant to give the facts.

WHAT ARE SOME POSSIBLE SOLUTIONS TO THE PROBLEM?

—  There are ways we can combat the effects of global warming. The Clean Air Act of 1990 is a law in the United States that attempts to protect and improve the earth's air and atmosphere.

—  Some of the components of this law include limiting harmful vehicle emissions and phasing out the use of chemicals that can damage the ozone layer.

—  On a more personal level, we can work to prevent global warming by planting trees and by car-pooling.

—  Climate change is seen as a serious threat that is receiving serious attention world-wide. Hopefully, this global warming speech has helped inform you of what causes it and the effects that it has on the earth. It's up to you to decide how you can help to do something about it.

—  If you are really passionate about the subject you may want to turn it into a persuasive speech on how people can help to minimize the damage to the planet we engage in every day.
